This release was recorded 11-30 & 12-2-73 at the Boston Music Hall in Boston, MA. Dick's Picks 14 is the first four cd set in the series and is taken from the first and third nights of a three night stand with the first two discs from the first night and the last two from the last night. This would also be the last release during Dick's life as he passed shortly after it's release. This is also the last release in the series to not be mastered in the HDCD format.
